
ABOUT US
From our passion and drive to contribute to the conservation of the Bolivian river dolphin foundation CONCETA Bolivia was established in 2013. Our focus is on research and educational outreach efforts to advance knowledge and inspire support and action for the conservation of the Bolivian river dolphin and its natural environment.
Our VISION
We envision a sustainably managed, healthy, and resilient river ecosystem securing a future for the Bolivian river dolphin, and all other life that depends on it.
Our GOALS
- With research activities contribute to understanding the lives of river dolphins and the rivers they live in and determining conservation status and needs;
- Provide information and education on river dolphins, the threats and the importance and benefits of maintaining a healthy freshwater ecosystem; the ultimate goal is to inspire people to participate in conservation action;
- Help to develop and implement effective conservation strategies.
