The Bolivian river dolphin does not stand alone but is part of a greater aquatic ecosystem. The increase of scientific  knowledge about river dolphins and the condition of their habitats with respect to, for example, water quality and prey abundance is of benefit to other fauna and to people living near who are being dependent on the river. At this moment, different nature organisations and institutes are working in the Bolivian Amazon. CONCETA will focus on the formation of partnerships with organizations that work  on  research,  the management  and  preservation  of   water   resources,  and the flora and fauna within the Bolivian Amazon.  By  sharing  each  other’s  collected  data,  experience  and  connections,  we  aim  to achieve  a  better understanding and possibly  a better protection of the aquatic ecosystems and fauna therein.
